Think it has more to do with "Districts", the Big 4 is in the Vicksburg District. Okatibee is in another district and they have docks.
We have a mat at Grenada Landing and also at Youngs landing but last year the water never got high enuff to use them. Most of our ramps now have rip raff all aound the ramp leaving you one option and that is to pull up on the concrete ramp, worse when fishing by yourself.

They need to do something......either remove part of the rip rap or put down some rubber mats
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I can't see why they have a dock on the lower lake at Sardis, but nothing on the upper. That seems a little crazy to me considering the amount of use the upper has.

While we're making a wish list, let's ask Santa for a few cleaning stations at Sardis and Butla too. I know Sardis has at least one at Clear Creek but I don't know of any on the North side of the lake. Teckville and either Beech or Engineer's Point would be a great place to start. My garbage can smells like Dahmer's basement in the springtime, help me out!!

And I am 100% with y'all on the rubber mats for Sardis and Butla too, they have them at the other lakes, why not these?

They built 2 brand new ramps at Sardis last year at Hwy 7 and Wyatt's crossing and neither have rubber mats or cleaning stations.
It's all over but the fryin'......

Okatibbee is in the Mobile District and we have floating piers on every landing. The piers are floating year round though where on the big four, they'd be sitting on dry land part of the year. I did put a keel guard on my boat for fishing the big four.
