what Ducker said--nothing but LOGS and sticks. And I mean logs--24 plus inches around--2 to 6ft long--all over the place on the upper end of Sardis. Only fish I saw was the one shad I caught (which was a first)

I tell ya--if I wouldn't have still had the boat hooked up from yesterday evening would have done the same. Melissa wanted to go out yesterday so she backed out. decided she was ready today. Weather was nice for her so she's had her fill for a while

Years ago, when I was single, we were at the beach at Sardis lower lake. Some kid stepped on a hook. We started picking up line, hooks and sinkers. The GW said we had fishing supplies at the water, "intent". 4 of us fishing without a license, $120., $25. each and $5 court cost, don't know what it is now.
A few years ago we were loading up from a bad day fishing. Got checked by the GW. Some kids were launching a ski boat, one picked up a tackle box in the boat. The GW was all over them. We kept hearing, "We aren't fishing, no poles, we're skiing. We left, never knew what happened.

I stayed here and helped my son with his new place all day.
