    tiger woods was just penalized 2 stroke penalty for improper drop on hole 15 yesterday at the masters...

    I believe the 2 stroke penalty was for signing an untrue scorecard. There was an official scorer with him and all other groups. It should have been handled on the spot instead of the next day.

    the violation was for not dropping his ball in the proper spot.. the rules folks saw it before he signed his card yesterday but deemed it was alright. this morning they changed their mind...

    Don't know much of anything about Golf. What was the penalty on the young kid all about?

    He was warned four or five times to speed up play and didn't. His group was two holes behind the group in front of him, 40 minutes. I still don't agree with the penalty though.

    Thanks Tommy, hadn't watched any of it. Just saw it on the news and didn't hear a explanation. I'm betting a bunch of them ole guys didn't want him playing anyway.
