And I can say I've now launched at Pat's Bluff or whatever it's called...and I won't do that agaiin either. At least not by myself. There's no where to beach your boat while you park the truck. Now I know not to launch at Teckville either..thanks!

Yesterday at Nader when we came out there was one Gewber who actually had parked on the highway at south graysport. Truck, and trailor were almost touching the guardrail. They have all been warned about this and parking on the ramp also. Were some citations written during the crappie masters.

I'm not as seasoned as these other fella's with launching at teckville so i was shocked by the "procedure"--not used to sitting in a line, ONE boat launching at a time, etc--even at Engineer--I'll just stick with a 10 minute boat ride down that way.

South Graysport at Nader was a cluster all week. I knew it would be worse on Saturday so we got there at around 5:30 am.

The ramp at teckville is wide enough for 2 boats. Everyone wants to launch in the center.
If I use it again, I'll have a shovel and buckets with me, haul off some sand.

I've seen more people get swamped at teckville also, that sandbar is just under the water now. Two boats swamped Friday, had a west wind and they pulled up to drop someone off on that east bank. Needless to say, both boats filled up fast! Another guy launched in a tracker like mine headed out of the little cove and took a left....sandbar! I thought he was in trouble too but he luckily managed to get off without swamping.
