Here, http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm, it is called a senior pass. Get you one, then you can use it to get 50% off a COE launch permit forever.

At the same link is the Access Pass that works the same way for the disabled folks. Except its free.

If you were over 65, you could buy a lifetime Golden Age Pass for $10. This could be used for free access to all National Parks and Federal Recreation Areas in the U.S. You could also use it to buy parking passes for $15. I saw one website that said these were no longer being offered. I guess the COE office could answer that question.

The "Golden Age Pass" has been replace with the "Senior Pass". Sold at US Forrest Service field offices for $10 and is good for a lifetime as long as you don't lose it. That's another $10. With the Senior Pass you can buy you launch pass for $15. The launch pass is good at all COE lakes in the USA. I bought my senior pass in Oxford.

They are US Corps of Army of Engineers annual passes!!!! Not exclusive to MS. I always get mine at Enid for the convenience. They are good at ANY corps lakes. I have used mine at Greers Ferry on several occasions. So ck corps lake next to you and get you one !!! Use it anywhere in the US where the Corps controll the lake...
