I started out with the Wally's too, and you're right about them. Missed a lot of bites I never saw. The Ozark is similar to the PST, but has a lighter tip. Both are good poles.

Couple weeks ago I fished the crappie maxx and ozarks side by side. And to me they are very similar. The ozarks were a little lighter but the backbone was about the same. I think if you go with CM,ozarks,CC or pst you can't go wrong.

All in personal preference and major fishing style. None of the rods are BAD rods, just have different strengths.

I fish the Capps and Coleman's exclusively trolling and RARELY net a fish. I hate to speak for feelay when he's not here, but I've fished with him quite a lot, and he'll tell you the same thing. And this isn't for lack of catching fish.

Same here. Never net a fish unless someone is with me and they just feel the need to use a net. And I swing fish all over the place with the cncs. It's actually pretty funny to watch when I'm by myself. I figured I might ad well try an Ozark for the heck of it since I needed to replace one.

It's getting harder and harder to find a decent cane pole these days. Anybody know who has them without a joint in the middle?
