Back in the day before I bought my Allison I had a 17.5 foot alumaweld boat with a hopped up 100 hp straight 6 merc. It was producing about 145 hp... It was scary fast. Ran about 63 with just me in it. Haha.. Then I bought the Ally and found out was fast was... I miss that boat.
Everyday spent outdoors with good company is worth the time and effort it takes to make it happen. Take a friend fishing!

    JFYI---
If the boat has a Coast Guard rating placard on it, it isn't considered a commercial model by the Coast Guard, it's a recreational model which requires a certain amount of floatation for the HP rating. That's what 99% of boats are. A commercial model doesn't have to have any flotation in it at all, has no hp rating, and has a commercial placard or sticker on it.
