When you use the Tapatalk Signature feature, it's really not a signature. It's posted as part of your message. So essentially if you use that feature, and you also have a "normal" signature using the message board software, your signature shows up twice.

So since the tapatalk feature is essentially skirting the normal signature process, I removed it. They have a configuration option for that, which tells me they have had complaints about it.

I turned it off for Tapatalk and Forum Runner. These are both Smart Phone Message Board apps that are essentially the same.

So if we use our phone 99% of the time, and delete the regular online signature, then will it work?
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.

It's something to think about Bill. But it brings up a whole new set of issues. If you use only one signature it would either be too big on the phone or too small on a computer. The system has a flaw the way it is now. We need to have two separate ones, and have them show separately depending on what you are using. I'm sure it'll eventually become available. As it stands, any rules applied to it's use would be hard to manually enforce. We already have a hard time with members stretching the rules on signature usage.

No.....they are turned off for everybody. But every post you make has your online signature on it when viewed on the computer......so you are still getting lots of advertisement.
