    I need 200 fish a year to get by til the next.I know some need more and some need less,so how many do you keep before you start throwing them back?

    We eat them almost as fast as I can catch them. I share a lot with some of the old timers that can't get out much anymore.

    Only time i throw em back is when im at limit or its too small. Eat a lot of fish and supply family members as well.

    Plus, theres no guarantee im gonna be here tomorrow... Let alone next year

    I cook crappie about 4 times a year for me and my wife. I do save enough each year to furnish for a Church fish fry....its a small Church and I usually cook about 200 fillets.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
