    You couldn't make a bad decision with either engine, but you saved yourself a ton of money on the choice you made. It didn't make me any difference, but the Tohatsu is as much bang for the buck as you can get. I sell LOTS of em, and they don't come back!!!!!!!!!

    I got a 50 HP Tohatsu in 2011. Love that thing!!! Doesn't smoke, cranks instantly in the coldest weather and awesome fuel mileage!! Tohatsu is the number one used outboard in the commercial industry world wide. You will love it.

    just put a yamaha f70 four stroke on from my first impression it is going to be hard to beat

    I had a yammi 25t and had rowboats passing me. run about 14 miles per with 2 people and livewell full in a G3 eagle 176. Now i can can run 34 with 2 people and both livewells full.
