Was looking a license plates yesterday morning in parking lot. People from all over the US at our lakes. Even saw boat and trailer from Colorado. I talked briefly with a man from Iowa who was launching his boat. Told me that they had been talking about fishing the Big 4 for ten years and finally did it.
It's really nice to be able to fish all of these lakes within about an hour drive from home.

Yep....Spoiled is probably just about right.
Gonna wax philosophical here for a moment, but we are probably spoiled on a lot of things. Stop and think about how good you have got it compared to the vast majority of people in this world. We live in the greatest country in the world, have more freedom than any other people anywhere, and have a higher standard of living than any country out there. AND..... some of the best crappie fishing in the world in our back yard. We tend to forget because we ARE spoiled.........
Just look at the majority of post on this website.Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi! A tight race between us and Mizzo! We are truly blessed to have these lakes. This may mean a once in a lifetime fish for a angler anywhere else in this country. We take it for granted because these lakes are right at our doorsteps and we want to protect what we have!A lot of out of town money helps to raise local economy for a lot of people.I thank God every day for what he has given all of us to enjoy!

Very good post.... Living in AR I grew up that way duck hunting. Hard to get a grasp on how good you have it when u are used to it. I now routinely drive 280 to 340 miles round trip each weekly to fish in the waters of MS. It is truly an amazing place for sure! Not to mention that most of the folk you meet are really good people to.

Great Post!!!
We are blessed with huge crappie, and phenomenal duck hunting like our northern brethren are blessed with huge whitetails, walleye, perch, salmon, and many big toothy species (Pike and Musky) of fish. I bet they see as many out of state tags during the deer season as we do here with the crappie spawn.
We only sell the BEST....Xpress Hyper Lift and Excel aluminum boats.
