Fished was something very similar in the green carp days 30 years ago, used he as a trailer on a 1 foot leader behind a big bait when fishing schooling fish in the summer.

    Donnie,

Do you still have your facebook page? I want to send you a big fish picture of a 3lb+ that my wife caught two weeks ago on one of your gnats.

well my wife named them gnat's cause they look like a gnat she said. the only thing I ever done different is the name and tying them on a jighook with a 90 on it. thats it, the tippets, teasers and streamers have been around all my life

Anyone that has experience tying jigs can tye a equally efficient gnat. Donnie is a great guy, and really takes good care of you guys. He's doing a great job of trying to support a family. If I didn't tye my own I would deffintiely be buying from him.

I would like to add this as well. confidence in your lures and presentation is 98% of crappie fishing. Capps and Coleman use straight abardeen gold minner hooks and they have won the crappie masters 7 times so i would imagine they have a lot of confidence in there set up and im sure they have never used a gnat.
also I would like to add I googled the word gnat the day I tied the first one and a teaser, streamer,or tippet never popped up so I decided to call my little hand tied sickle hook a gnat ...thats it ..big woop

I'll be coming to Sardis in just a few more days, are there any place close to the Dam. say within 15 mile or so, that I could pick up one of Donnie's kit box of Nats. I would love to give them a try.
