    They used to only take Discover, then they opened it up to MC a couple years ago. I didn't know they took amex, course I don't have one of those anyway.

    I understand that its about the rebate arrangement. Sams will give only a 1/4% rebate on Discover. My VISA rebate card gives me a 1% minimum, 2% on gas and 3% on certain commodities. Sams won't give a higher rebate so they simply don't take VISA. Sams will take my VISA for gas and gives me the 2% rebate for the car. Go figure?
