    Big C it depends on what your budget is. The Humminbird 596 Ci DI is a pretty good unit with GPS, DI and 2d for around 400. The hummingbirds will give you all 3. The Lowrance units give you GPS with either DI or 2d but not both until you get to the Elite7 then your talking 600+. if you are ok with monochrome that unit Handi posted is a real nice unit for the money. Figure out what you want and then call Brian at BBG marine, a sponsor on here for your best deal on new.

    I second the Lowrance Elite 7 HDI series,good looking unit for the money.You can order it 8 different ways to suit your needs.I just ordered a 7xHDI for the bow.It has no gps,no maps...just a fish finder($550).I have a 998 HB at the console and wanted a 958 hd di for the bow but for the price,nothing HB has compares to the new Lowrance.
