Thats the purpose for coming together now and hopefully heading this off before it gets worse. Stan, i dont think even you thought a 3 pole limit on Sardis was in the cards, at least you didnt say so. I pesonally appreciate you and ATM going to the meeting and reporting back but the 3 pole thing never even came up until the day of the commission meeting in February.

The single-polers did, we didn't, enjoy your three poles.

Rees you are correct, the three pole limit was never mentioned at the meeting but would it have made any difference? Mr Garavelli made it perfectly clear they were open to other ideas on how to reduce the fishing pressure on Sardis because of two bad spawns in a row. This information was gathered and was being presented by the biologist before the meeting went out of control by the single-polers and never recovered. This isn't the end of the world. Grenada has had a three pole limit for several years now and anglers continue to drive hundreds of miles for the opportunity to fish the "famous" Grenada for that one trophy fish.

3 poles, 5 poles, unlimited poles, just go fish. Grenada doesn't seem to have a problem with 3 poles. They catch tons of fish every year. I know a limit is a limit no matter how many poles you use, but a limit will be harder to come by with less poles, especially on the slow days. To make it easier to catch a limit, they lowered that to 15. I'll post for a poles increase, but I ain't gonna fret if it ain't changed back. I'm just gonna keep fishing. Who cares about how many limits we catch anyway? I thought it was really about the sport of crappie fishing, not how many you can catch!!!!!!!!!!

Eat em if ya need em, throw the rest back!!!!!!

you are correct, its not the end of the world but hope its not the beginning either. We dont need to argue among ourselves we need to get togeher and hopefully gain back some ground or at the very least maintain where we are now.

I got one more thing to say before I shut up. I keep hearing that the single polers ruin the spawn. How so? Every time you clean a pre spawn fish with eggs, what are we trollers doing? We're catching a female that would have spawned!!! No one group ruins the spawn any more than the other. The single pole guys just want more fish on the beds, so they blame the trollers for catching to many pre spawn fish. Pffffft. We all contribute to the Pressure the MDWFP is worried about!!!!! I'm glad someone is looking out for the resource!!!! As some say, just deal with it!!!!! Some states have a two pole limit, course they don't have the fish we are lucky to have. We are blessed with the best crappie fishing in the World right here at our back doors. Lets all stop beaching, and Enjoy it!!!!

Yes. It would have made a difference. The trollers would have been charging the governors mansion with trolling rods in hand.

Really??? you made a comment or two to me about posting pics of catches on here. So clear this up for me, when you prefished Grenada and posted the pics of the enormous pile of fish was that what you were gonna eat or maybe just maybe this eat em if ya need em thing just goes for your home lake where you fish???? I am a bit confused????

I think when we get this changed back we need to take pics of Big and Yikes fishing with five poles and make fun of them!
