the reason my thread crappie limit came on the heels of the rod limit thread is not about honesty and ect .a limit is a limit and trying to lower the playing field just ticks me off . I am a jig fisherman and only troll in the summer . what upsets me is the number of regs. that are not enforced because of the lack of funds for the mdwfp . I am not the enemy, just the opposite . If pole number is a problem then taking over the limit is the real issue . If the legislature would hire enough officers to enforce the regs/laws ,I think the state fishery could grow .the coe says the state controls whatever, the state says just the opposite . either work together or forget all this and just go fish .
