I have a place near coles point on Sardis. Had it for 10 years. We like it, the grass mowing is an issue. I have family and friends use it sometimes, just helps to open up and air out. There are several on Sardis Lake drive For Sale.

The real question would be which lake do you feel like you are going to fish the most? That is where I would go

After considering all input, I think South has a great point. I could get a camper for a fration of the price, no property taxes, no grass to mow, no burst pipes, and no break ins. And also, can move from lake to lake as I choose. Wasn't really fond of the camper idea at first, but have talked to some folks that absolutely love theirs. Have been checking into 5th wheels, since I have the hookup on my truck. Cabin sounds great, but I already have a yard I get to cut every two weeks while I stare at the lake and wish I was on the water

Ask Torch. He takes his camper and spends the weekends a few times a month. He can tell ya what ever you need to know about them.

It's especially economical if u can get a geezer pass and pay only half price. Rip a lip has a 5th wheel camper and I love that thing to death. You don't realize you are even staying in a camper when you let out the slides.

Campers are handy and fun. They also depreciate. Buy property, if you can afford to. At your age it would be a very smart investment. You can usually always get your money back and usually more, if willing to wait, when you buy a house.
