    You can not wire it the way you want without putting in a relay.You can have two switches up front and a master at the console,but both switches up front will have to be on for the master switch to turn both sides on.Which may be what you want but that is not how you explained it.

    that's how i explained it to him during the phone convesation, he will have the master on and controle the seperate sides with seperated switches

    You can wire it the way he wants if you put a diode in line on the one side to keep it from back feeding when he only has one side on.

    thanks to all you guys, for taking the time to reply to my wiring question. it had me stumped, but the man with the plan, Mrgoodtime, took the time to tell me in a phone conversation, how to wire it the way I needed to. and he was one heck of a nice guy, I enjoyed talking with him. before we ended the call he offered to show an old Ky guy, how you MS guys catch crappie. thinking I'll hold him to the offer, in a few days. again, thanks to you all and a special thanks to Mrgoodtime.
