    you might as well go ahead and stick that foot control in a storage box. you ain't gonna use it after a day with that tv remote.

    actually kind of handy when your partner can use it when your busy in the back of the boat fixin sammiches oh and if you use the neck lanyard remember sometimes when you bend over you accidently hit the rabbit button heck of a ride fo-sho

    Yep...I leave my foot control hooked up and on the deck at all times. I use it as much as I use the remote.

    I havent had mine plugged in since I got the 2nd remote. Torch has one and so do I , That way one of us can control the boat while the other is doing something else.

    Having the foot control hooked up is a good idea. That way if you fall in with the remote around your neck your partner can come back and get you.
    I know some will say the remote is waterproof and you could steer it back yourself. Mine isn't.

    If the remote screws up or the battery goes down all you got to do is use that foot pedal if you leave it hooked up.....I really do use mine a lot though....If I am bringing in a fish and I want to turn the boat a little bit or slow down or what ever I can do it with my foot at the same time.......Its just what you get used to, I use them both.
