Does cotton seed oil do as good as peanut oil? I know peanut oil is expensive.

Happy birthday, dude. That's a killer cooker. You can get cotton seed oil at BPS or Sportsmans' Warehouse. It's about the same price as peanut oil. I use it mainly because so many folks are peanut intolerant.

Chef's blend oil at Sam's is cottonseed and only $12 for 4 gal, last time I bought it.

I like Cotton Seed oil better because it can take twice the heat of any other oil(or so my uncle says) before it burns. I like the taste as well. My wife bought this oil from BPS in the 3 gallon jugs. I will check out SAM's next time i go.
The good thing about this cooker is that 4 gallons of oil that I have in it is suppose to last 30-35 cooking(according to the directions). I says to strain the oil every 5-7 cooking to remove excess meal that drops and the pour the same oil back in. We shall see.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Yall should just all chip in and buy me a nice 18' Yellow Express Boat with a 4 stroke 60 Yamaha.
