Sure seemed like a lot more that 40 boats off Lespedezza Point when Neon and I stopped at the cabins and looked that way. There were 50 boats in one section of the lower lake about 10:00 this morning.
Official boat count from Sardis on 3/8 was 768!!! 297 were on the Lower Lake. They caught 986 crappie. The 471 boats in the Marina and on Lespadezza point caught 2,520 crappie. The remaining crappie have fled to Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana.... Hope the anglers from those states will GO HOME and try to catch them! Just kidding guys! Be careful out there!
I'd rather be fishin!!!!!
Now we know where that racing strip on their back comes from leaven sippi!!!!

You think there were a lot of boats on the highway you should have actually been on the lake. A buddy fished Sardis, off Lespideza Point Friday and he counted 38 boats at one time, I fished Enid and there was 20 or so boats in the mouth of Long Branch. Several of them out of staters, mostly good folks.
Oh yea I lives in AR, but we have a house south of Enid and we are there so much we feel we're locals. lol
It's CRAPPIE season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The MOs and ILs are starting to pile in--saw more than a few today.
Reminds me of deer season in Illinois ,
