HB 788 problems

I just installed my 788ci HD DI on my boat the other night, it works, well sort of. My gps seems like it won't lock, gives me crazy speed and boat movement while its sitting stationary in the back yard. Just wondering if any you fellas may know the fix before I sit on the phone with HB all night

Internal or external GPS and is it under a shed?

If you're under a building, HEAVY tree canopy or a overhead powerline, it may cause that. Try system restore and see what happens if those aren't the case

internal GPS, had it in the middle of the open 1 acre back yard, thought it may be the house throwing it off or tree limbs. I will try the system restore when I get home. These dang things are smarter than me

I got a new ducer on the way, and heck I might as well spend $150 on a new GPS puck if this internal one ain't worth a flip. Heck, its just money!(Which is getting harder and harder to come by)

What was the software they had the problem with? Was it the V6.590? Cause that's what I have installed
