    Default Got bored today

I was looking for that little somthing extra for keeping bait alive and stole this idea from a fellow feesherman, installed the inverter and 60gal. double outlet air pump underneath the steering console ( not alot of room for a fat man to work under there ) , then ran air line to the front and center of the boat , each air hose has about 6ft. of hose tucked away inside the bow and side of the boat. The Side air line will cover the whole center are of the boat , or the entire back deck. I also added a 2 valve splitter in the line under the seat so i can add another line if i need to , it also allows me to cut the air supply off to the every thing except the bow if i want to.Now all i gota do is pull out the air line and drop the bubble stone in the bucket or cooler.

Yep, Yikess and I have been running those on our boats for a couple of years. They make a 12 volt model so you don't need the inverter. They make a huge difference!!!

You lose about 10% (electrical efficiency) by running through the inverter.

Ran it for 8hrs today just for giggles to see what the drain on the battery would be( only used one battery for the test ) , i couldnt even tell it had been running, hooked up the charger and the yellow light stayed on for 3 mins. and went to green, i can live with that since it will be pulling from 2 when on the water.

Why the inverter? They make several 12 volt models, I've been using one for years. Simpler and less junk to go bad on you.
