They will do 1 of 2 things next. #1 ciropractor or #2 a nerve block shot. I had nerve pinched in my back 6 years ago and did the nerve block and havent had any more problems with it. Some folks it does well and others it doesnt.

I've two bulging disc in my neck and have the same symptoms with the numbness in my arm and fingers, thought I was having shoulder problems. The doc said if you can raise your arm over your head and get relief then it is usually a pinched nerve in your neck but if you get relief by lowering your arm down then it is usually in your shoulder. I'm still living with the pain it comes and goes but is much worse when I lay down to sleep at night.

P.S. be glad DonDon didnt wire up that machine they tested you with today !!!

I guess you know what a taser feels like now. When I was going through rehab after my first surgery, they would stick electrodes on my arm and shoulder to make the muscles jump. Felt like bee stings.

Physical therapy is a option as well as the nerve block, unfortunatley neither worked for me and I had to be cut on. Good luck.

They did Electromyography and Nerve Conduction studies and sure enough I've got a pinched nerve in my neck. Will know in a couple days what's next.
Had EMG in both arms, by the time he cranked it high enough to register, I informed him if he shocked me like that again, we were gonna have issues

The test was over at that point.
