"WTG" I am proud to be part of a group of guys that are careful and courteous. It don't take much to show a little kindness.

    Default Some People...

Great story, that's just one many dangerous areas on the Rez. Some folks have to learn the hard way that they are responsible for damages if they run someone over. It doesn't matter if they are in the navigation channel or not.

After getting my 25 ton USCG Masters License and guiding offshore fishing trips for a while I have seen it many times. Just because you can buy a expensive fancy rig by no means makes you a captain. We watched a 65' Viking sport fisherman slam into the rocks at Southwest Pass while we returning from a day tuna fishing at the canyon. The owner told the coast guard that he had set his autopilot for home and went to take a nap. He thought he would wake up in his slip in Venice.....

I may not be a crappie master yet, but I have been fishing long enough to know its not really the fish that I am after anyway. Everyone deserves and equal right to enjoy gods creation. I think though some people underestimate how dangerous a big shallow lake can become.

He did say he would check out the site but I don't think he has regular access to the internet.
