Whats going to happen is single polers complaing about trollers, and troller complaing about single polers the state is going to put rules and regs that nobody likes. I have done both i much rather catch them on a single pole but i have also trolled for them im trying to catch fish and do whatever i got to do to catch fish. We all got one thing in common and thats crappie. We need to come together trollers and single polers and make a difference in these lake TOGETHER by building as much habitat as we can for these fish. Be part of the solution not the problem. And who care about folks coming from other states im sure their are plent of deer hung on walls in Mississippi that came from Illinois, Kansas and Missouri

Try this. Take 3 daily limits and get checked by the LEO. Then the next day take 2. daily limits and get checked by the same LEO. Guess what? Citation time. You see you couldn't have legally caught those limits in the two days.

Agree with every word, slabin. But some do not.

i could be wrong but what i think he is trying to say is say a man fishes for 10 days and he is from out of state and he has caught 140 fish which is seven limits. he can legally transport them.

What you just said is correct, slabin. What about the border lakes that have a 30 fish or 50 fish daily limit. Should they be excluded? I think not.

Iam not confused at all. You don't get what iam saying. The law is black and white read it. I just wish it was 2 limits not 7. With all these fish camps and parks with rv's with deep freezers and the local outlaws let them be restricted to 2 limits instead of 7 when TRANSPORTING.

Year's ago there was a daily limit and a possission limit like in duck hunting.I also agree we don't need more rule's.Can I at least get someone who troll's to agree that day in and day out your odd's of putting more fish in the boat are greatly higher than single pole?My arguement is single pole has a month mabey month and a half when fishing is hot and really about a 2 week peak hot time then it get's bad slow.Trolling is year round day in day out more productive than single pole. The 2 week thing is just from what I notice kinda like the deer rut the fish will kinda trickel spawn starting in March then about a 2 week streacth in middle of April that they are on fire.

Yes, it is black and white. Transport 7 daily limits. NOT 7 LIMITS DAILY.

I never said the law said each angler can haul 7 limits every day. Read my post there in black and white. I said I wish they would change the daily limit on transporting to 2 instead of 7. You need to quit twisting what iam saying you done the same thing on the 10" at sardis thread I don't know what your beef is with me but you need to back off.

Grave digger I agree trollers do catch more fish due to poles and the amount of body of water they fish its like a moving trotline. 10 poles is 20 hooks.
