thats just does not seem right.....looks like they should just add another still or two and increase production instead of compromiseing their product and risking makeing customers unhappy.

It ages for 5 years so I am sure they are amping up production. It just takes 5 years to catch up. My opinion is they are screwing up. If your product is so popular that you cannot keep up with demand, do what you can to boost future production but do not mess with the recipe. A company cannot buy the kind of publicity it gets when their product is so much in demand. They should be proud they are so popular and do their best to keep creating the product that so many enjoy.

I think you're right on. Capitalism. Raise the price until supply and demand even out. Invest the additional profits into ramping up production. Lowering the quality of a superior product is silly.

What do y'all think they will do when they "catch up" with consumption? I'll bet you a ribeye dinner at the Como Steakhouse that they will not change back to the original recipe unless folks have been raising Cain and profits are way down.
