We stayed close to the dam near beach point, most of the time we were in 18-24 fow and had our baits anywhere from 10-18 feet deep.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

Dang, guess we were too deep, way too deep. The one white bass I caught was on the last pole we rigged and we had run out of C&C rigs and just had a 1/8 jig tipped with a minnow and it hit while we were on the move and it had risen up in the water. I did shorten up one of my other poles after that but nowhere near 4 feet.

Fish often suspend very shallow at Sardis. Lots of folks coming from out of state fish under them. Good luck tommorrow!

Go back tomorrow in the same area and fish 15 fow 2 to 5 foot deep. If no luck go a quarter mile west of the trees out from holiday lodge.. hope that helps.

This also explains why we werent marking many fish on the depth finder. When they are that shallow they have to pretty much be right under the transducer to be within the "cone" where they would show up.
