    I think it sounds more like electrical problem. You hit a bump and the wire that is shorting out clears up and runs better when your not bouncing around it shorts out wires are Probaly need to get hot from motor to short out. That's what it sounds like.

    OK so hear is the plan gonna leave it the way it is until after next tourney.First thing gonna try portable fuel tank may do that at Washington.If not the problem rebuild carbs,change all fuel lines and new fuel filter.If that is not it, check into electrical issues.And if all else fail I will run the piece of sh@t until it blows up.What do yall think?

    Check your electrical before building carbs. Like said before check around your control box for bad wire or loose connections. Take cowl of and have someone move throttle back and forth while sitting in drive way. Look at wiring coming out from under flywheel. Your timing advance is manual and there is some wiring close to the advance mechanism that could be rubbed. Especially check wiring and switch for kill switch. Your bouncing in the seat is moving something, throttle control box or steering wheel.

    I'm an electrician and hate messing with wiring on boats and cars.The bouncing does not have to come from the drivers seat anywhere in the boat.i have checked a lot of wires because that is what I thought it was.I do most things alone but all y'all's help we will figure it out or burn it up.
