If you used 1/2 gal per battery you might want to start putting a little in the cookie jar every week starting tonight. And don't get on here whining about them batteries just won't last as long as they use to![]()

Also check the bottom of the batteries for damage. The battery that Handi brought back had a pin hole worn in the bottom of it from debris trapped in the tray or a loose strap, and that cell was leaking and dry, and caused the malfunction of that battery. If the batteries aren't tight in the tray or box, the bouncing and the weight of the battery can cause that to happen if debris gets under the battery. His was the first one Ive had like that, and we exchanged it anyway, but in the future, make sure your trays and boxes are clean, and no screw heads sticking out. Just FYI

Dang. How thin is the casing on them cart batteries? I wonder if they're made to stand up to the abuse like a marine battery.
None of todays batterys are as thick as they used to be.
