    Default Well, made the purchase

Bought the boat last night, cranked, ran great. duck blind works, trailer in great shape. Wanted to put my HB788 on it at some point. I dont have the original ducer that broke off my other boat. With this bein a duck boat, should I just mount the new ducer on the TM or is there an option for a transom mount that would not get smashed to bits. I know the thru hull is probably out of the question, but I would love this unit to be my running unit and have a larger unit at the front for spider rigging and pulling. Open to all input and suggestion, you guys have good ideas every once in a while

Oh, and with that mud motor, what kinda running interference would that cause, if any?

The mud motor should not cause any interference. TM mount would be best.

All you need now is to get ES back for a net man.

I'd look at one of those removable mounts that Cabelas and Bass Pro sells or some one sells a pickup bracket I've seen on here a couple of times. Going to be hard to mount one on a regular mount and not tear it off when hunting. If it was me I'd mount the good one on TM and get one of those cheap finders for around a hunnert bucks for when your running. All your worried about is depth with that.

That mud motor is going to be pretty loud trying to sneak up on the crappie lol. It looks like a great boat though.

At idle its not too loud, and maybe a 24v TM is in the near future for me... I will see if there is a removable mount that may work
