    Been paying on this one for a year and a half is all Jerkin Meat. Only had 58,000 on it but you could tell it had been in the mud a few times. LOL

    Just what the shop told me on the Pitman Arm.Isn't the Pitman arm and the Adler arm connected to one another?

    How many miles on it now DD?? Them tires stickin' out will eat an Idler arm up.

    Pitman arm is on the splined shaft of the steering box, and yes, they connect. There's no parts, bushings, etc on the pitman arm to fail, it's a machined casting.

    Not directly. Pitman arm is the big arm connected to the steering box and connects to the drag link. The idler arms are shorter arms mounted on the front cross-member and connect to the drag link. The idlers are the pivot points of that allow the drag link to move from side to side.
