Yep, that's something I'd learned pretty quick from fishing out of some of these guys boats. Haven't been in one yet where I felt cramped, but that was partially another reason I was looking at tin (not that there aren't some glass boats the same), I like less taper and bow sticking out front.

They sure will, i used to have a late '70's model Terry abf tri-hull with an 85hp evinrude. That thang drank gas like Big H slams solo cups at a keg party. It only had two 6 gallon tanks and i had to be durn careful how far from the ramp i got.

You can find a set up similar to mine for around 8 k before the added bells and whistles(998 and iPilot). And word of advice be patient and research on what you want and don't settle for less than that because u will kick yourself thoroughly if you do.

Neon I would say this boat is for sure worth 2 g, if its solid and transom and is in good shape, here is my thing and this is just an opinion because I know how you like to work on things and make them to your specs but look at this,,,, 2 g for the boat, you will need at least a 125 on that boat and a good one will cost ya 4 to 5 g i would guess, trolling motor 1 g, electronics???? as much as you want to spend1 to 3 g, you will have 7 to 9 g in building a boat like this when you are done, plus you got all that work, if ya want a tin boat just let BRM or whatever dealer ya want find you a good used one, hook to it and drive off with it ready to fish. This is just my opinion because i started off with and old glass stick steer boat and built it then traded up and I coulda saved myself alot of heartache if I woulda just went on and bought the boat I wanted to start with, JMO

Oh I know what you all are sayin, and I'm sure you're right. I'm just pretty much fighting off boredom. I'm not considering anything as far as "buying" until I'm at that point. I'm definitely going to be seeking advice when I get there.
