Yep.... 2 new batteries will be bought. Here is the question now: I use a regular 27 series deep cycle battery for my cranking and accessories. Should I keep it the same or move that big arse golf cart battery that is still good over as the new cranking and accessories battery or just sell it????

Thr rule of multiple batterys in a system is...never mix batterys by brand, type, or age.....all batterys should be replaced at the same time. Use you good one you have on something that only requires one battery. Otherwise you good old battery will pull your new one down. Big H should be able to tell you this.....when I was working as a mechanic we changed out all three batteries on our trucks if one was bad......if we didn't we always had problems later on. Whe took the good batterys that we replaced and used them on single battery applications like a pick up or a small tractor.
I just read your other post.....if it were me, I would sell that big heavy battery.....no need in more weight if you do not need it.
If you have not been having problems with the cranking and assec then sell the big one.
I would swap for a new one on the bad one and sell both of them if you dont need em.
golf cart batteries are way over rated for the price, weight, and the hassle of makin them fit....
I did, he is still gonna have a brand new battery if he takes the time to get it replaced which will give him 2 good cart batts.
Pulling cranks they are the cats meow if you have the room and can stand the weight, not bad either when you are gone for 3 or 4 days somewhere slow tolling and dont have to worry about finding an outlet to charge batts.
Good luck with whatever you do Handi
According to yesterdays thread.....he is through with cart batterys.....going to use group 31's....... he is through pulling cranks......keep up gewber, your gonna be a mess when you get old, lol:Rofl
