Thread: Smoked pork shoulders

my Dad, who definitely lives off the grid, slaughtered 2 hogs this weekend. I'm smoking the shoulders from one of them, we'll see how they turn out. Hopefully we will have some pulled pork tonite. I already got the sauce for it

I am thinking seriously about moving to Louisville......good fishing, good cooking and eating, deer in the back yard, and man cave eating meetings every Wedsday night.......don't see how you can beat that

don't think they are wild dd. he slaughtered them which i take as domestic. may be wrong tho.

AHH, didn't see that part of the post. Bet they were alot better than what you get in the store though

Thinking about unpacking the elect. smoker I gave myself for christmas. Head to the store. Get some whole chickens, pork and fruit. Just saw some stuffed smoked sweet potatoes on HSN.

Feesh stopped by his dads yesterday when we came home from the river to pick up those shoulders and we had a treat. His dad had fresh pork craklins, man you talkin bout good I couldve made myself sick eatin them things.
