Default My new (to me) toy

I know this belongs on the small watercraft forum but there are some people who may not see it there whom I want opinions from. I been wanting a small boat to use in creeks and ponds that I can't reach in my big boat. It's an old River Hawk, been in a barn for a while, I hear they are very stable for a small boat. I want to put a trolling motor on the back and be able to control it from the front with a pressure switch to turn power on and off and stick steering, any ideas? PS I ain't spending the money on a terrova, Rees.

Yeah, i researched them a little, they say you can stand up and fly feesh in it, the trout guys love 'um. The guy i bought it from was 6' 3" and weighed 250 and said he stood on the edge of the bench seat and it would not turn over. Don't think i'll try that till it warms up a bit. The boat is 13' and only weighs 100lbs.

Neat find there Feesh. Always thought those would be perfect small water boat. I'd check Craigslist around Memphis,Jackson TN,arkansas, and cities in your area and EBay for a used stick steer set up then put steering bracket on motor. Might even contact E Z pole holder he may have something you can use and I know he could build you something.

That's what Neon needs. Sure wish I had the extra money I'd get it.
