Just some excitement a while ago. Booms ring out just before 10, not fireworks. I call city hall. I'm in my pj's, but get dressed. The booms are getting closer. Sounds like one against the house. My wieners are about to take the doors down to get out. We go out on the back deck and watch as 2 somebodies load something into a truck and take off. I guess response time for me is at a null. I haven't seen anyone yet. I hope I never have a fire cause feelay will never find my place. I'll pass a word to my cousin thursday when I have to go to city hall.
Next time call nine hunert eleven. Careful when you go to talkin about your wieners gonna knock the door off down there at city hall. Greg Davis may decide to make that call himself.

Yep, the fireworks would have been great cover. The light rain would keep a lot of folk inside. Perfect time to go spotlighting. The wieners and I walked down the hill this morning. Everything was fine until we got to the area where the truck was. With their noses to the ground, they were running in circles. Trying to find what they were smelling. All I could see was some tore up ground that wasn't like that the last time I cut the grass.
To many pros and cons on Grey's part. He came out here the day that they paved my road. "I hope you're not mad at me for taking your gravel drive away from you." I wish they had done a better job.

They were busy dealing with a break in at Oliver drug store about that time. Listening to the scanner was my entertainment for the night.
