Yes you do. Go to "Tools", click on "Internet Options" and "Delete all". That should help some. Also run a good anti-virus program often.

With IE -- click "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> in General tab click on "Delete browsing history" -> "Delete Temporary Internet Files".
With Firefox--
Clear the cache
- At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
- Select the Advanced panel.
- Click on the Network tab.
- In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now.
- Click OK to close the Options window

If your running a PC go to Malewarebytes and get their free download it's a anti malware program.
Also get Spybot search and destroy which is also a free download for removing spyware
They both will try to sell you a full version but you don't really need it and these are updated all the time. Had a problem with my PC a year or so ago that tech gurus from Makfee couldn't fix. Ran these 2 programs and problem was solved. I try to run both about once a week or so if I use the PC very much. Most of the time though I'm on my IPad.

If you have a Mac, you turn it off for a few hours and it clears itself.
I had to pull out my old one. I don't like it because the screen is high. It doesn't like Bill Gates very well. So there are a lot of things I can't do on it as I can with windows. It seems that one of my grandkids loaded my laptop down with things and now it takes about 2 hours to turn on. Everytime I go to a new site, I have to download Java or Adobe reader before I can do anything. I run a virus scan and come up clean. It's 4 to 5 years old which is good for a laptop. A cracked screen, so a repair will run over $500. I'll wait till payday and get a new one. I may find a good deal in the new year day ads.
