    Default Raingear

Searched through old posts, and seems it's BPS Pro Quals, or Cabelas Guide Series (with Pro Quals seeming to hold the majority).

I'm considering getting a set (bibs/coat), as much for wind stop as rain protection. Seeing as how they ain't cheap, I only wanna pay once (and cry once).

    What say ye?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

GDG, and feesh advised me when I bought my Guide Wear. They sold their 100 MPH suits and bought the guide wear. They said the cabelas suit did a better job for them, so that's what I got. They had used them both, and gave a fair evaluation of each.

BTW, I bought the Thinsulate insulated model when they were 40% off. I'll come by and show em to ya this afternoon.

I just looked, and Cabelas had their Guide on sale (for anyone interested). What makes the 100MPH stuff worth the extra $?

I'm waitin' for a ride, so will see what anyone else (adding input) has to say. Plus about BPS would be I could likely get a ride up there and save shipping (cost and wait).

Cabelas had free shipping when I bought mine. Look online for the shipping deal. The code was ship2 I think, or maybe 2ship, which meant they would ship 2 free packages to ya. They didn't have the black online, but they found me a set at one of their stores in my size and gave me the same online price for it.

Carharts, Lot less money and think about how many guys wear this stuff to work outside in the freezing cold every day. You can get a cheap rainsuit to wear over them if its raining. but I dont fish in the freezing rain!!!!
Oh, yea and a pair of Muck boots, and water proof gloves.

Columbia Omni Heat sure makes a nice one. It bettter be cold out when you wear it. Like below 45 degree's. You won't feel any wind for sure. You might feel your wallet get lighter though.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

That's the problem with Cheap rainsuit's. Your gonna get wet. Then your wet and cold.

What you save in shipping, you'll pay in sales tax at BPS. Cabelas don't charge tax to Sippi locations. That's why I had mine shipped to my buddy in Southaven. Just sayin.
