then get you a set of the LaCrosse like I have, will do all you are wanting to do for aound 70 bucks. Just dont leave it laying accoss the seat and let it blow out of the boat going down the lake.:banghead In the wind and the rain lately I have been wearing mine that I replaced after loosing the other and havent been cold or wet with just a tshirt and a long sleeve fishing shirt on under it. In the boat I would add another layer. I was and am looking at the guide gear but just not sure I need it since I have gotten this othe jacket.
I looked at the Omni as well, last year and this year again, great stuff but at Lakeway they dont have a parka style in it and I prefer the parka style.
I got the Parka and Bibs. I prefer that style as well. Covers up the lower back and your backside better.
A tad over 300 on sale right now. It's 40% off.

A couple years ago when this topic came up someone, maybe Chad, bought the 100mph ( against the advise of some of us ), used them once in rain. He took them back and got the Pro Quals and lived happily ever after.
Anybody on here tried Artic Armor. It comes in a bunch of colors, rated for sub zero temps, waterproof, and if you go into the water, it floats. I was looking at it and posted this link to it. $339 for bibs and jacket w/ free gloves and there was some closeouts offered! Arctic Armor Mossy Oak Duck Blind Camo Suits I've got some Carhardts that I wear and stay pretty durn warm, but they ain't waterproof!
My suggestion to anybody would be to buy the best you can afford regardless of the brand, or wait till ya can. It'll pay dividends when you need it. It'll also last much longer if ya buy good stuff in the first place. I have my hunting gear, and three or four rain suits, but the insulated Guide Wear gives you Goretex, Thinsulate Ultra, and Wind Block. There might be better stuff out there, but the Cabelas is a time tested, proven product, plus its on sale for a great price right now!!! Good luck in your choice.

I think that was the BPS Bone Dry that Chad bought major. The Artic Armor is supposed to really good stuff.....I like the fact that it floats. Its what a lot of the ice fishing guys up north wear.
