Prior to eating breakfast while I was clearing-off a spot on my little table (everyone calls a desk) to set my plate, I managed to drop a Bic lighter in the middle of the syrup, and after cleaning it off, when I sat back down to finally eat, I knocked the ashtray over

I'd decided it may not be the best day for me to be on the water in a Kayak

I do however have a start on supper, and yes I'll be having cornbread with it along with lots of onions. If I got a real big appetite by then, maybe even some fried 'taters.

It "was" a pot of ham and beans.....now it's 1/2 a pot. Washed it down with a couple BLs, and just poured me a Baileys and coffee to go with a good smoke on a full belly. Feel like I'm in an Old Milwaukee commercial...it don't get no better than that.

Best pot of beans I'd made in a while. I'd say it was the ham. This was ham I got at Spains when John took me there. Good stuff!
