    Default Well I had plans

To head to Sardis this morning BUT. My daughter-in-law shows up as I was walking out the door. They need fire wood since it's going to get cold. I get the chainsaw ready and pick a wild cherry that didn't show any green this year. I got the tree down and cut a few pieces then gave it to her while I went to get the sledge and wedge. We split all the wood in half and loaded her truck. Then I noticed a truck backing into the drive. I got delivery of my 52" Redneck firepit. I set it up with what sand I had and fired it up at 5 pm. Good thing I didn't throw the wild cherry logs in. I split a 6 inch piece into 12 pieces. That dead dried wood burned forever. Now when I move it I'll need more sand. Holiday Lodge ramp has plenty of sand, just hate to launch there.
