It has been out a while, not new. A marine buddy of mine loaned me the DVD. I've watched it several times. It is a well done movie, but it is based in fact. It is the story of how the sniper came into play in the military. Features a Russian soldier vs a German soldier and it is a good one.
I deer hunted with a buddy who was a sniper in Viet Nam . He had a Weathersby 30-06 and a Steiner scope. Someone asked him how far he could hit something. He said "If I can see you, I can hit you" I've seen him shoot and I believe him. He was also a Tunnel Rat and he was unbelievable with a pistol, specially a 1911.
