    Default Ole River Run

They jacked the spillway up at Grenada this morning, from 1100 to 1900 CFS.At 1100 they were pulling 5 inches a day off the lake, wont take em long to get to the target at 1900. Should put a good bit of water in the ole river run, when does it get good???

Back in the day when they didn't drain it dry this much or this early, I caught the heck out of them in January and February in the ole river run...

I fished the run and Batupan Bogue years back with dad and uncle. Was there a limit back then? Throw the line in and the float would stand up, but not for long. Throw the line in again and the float would lay sideways and walk away. Guess that the fish were so thick, the line was on their backs. 3 or 4 dozen minners each, we would leave when we were out of bait.

Can't wait for it to get right. Looking forward to single piling around the boat ramp. Might have to take a geezer with me to show me the ropes
