Bill, how old is she? Sometimes older dogs know when their time is near and wander off to expire. I had a Golden do that, found his collar and remains about a year later in a field a good ways from the house. Hope she turns up though.

I had the same thoughts Feelay, had one do the same and know of several others.

She's only 5 and in great health. I had a 11 year old chocolate that went out and died before this one. I don't want any more. It's been tough twice in the last 5 years, but I did find the chocolate. I think he had a heart attack chasing a female that was in heat. He went out like the champ he was. Lol

We may YaYa at each other at times, but we ARE family when it comes to the truly important things. There isn't a single person on here that I wouldn't share my boat with!!!!!

Was just a thought Bill, hope she turns up, just never know. I had one that stayed gone for 3 weeks 2 different times, had given up both times.
