Bahahaha...This is why I am a State fan when my family and friends are OleMiss fans (my daughter is a senior @ OleMiss). It's fun to rile folks up every now and again. Folks take it WAY too serious...on both sides.

You nailed it!! How can any Ole Miss or State fan take things so personally? Sure they are gonna have their good years but if you hang around as a fan long enough you'll see that neither team has a chance to ever be great. The money ain't there, period! So to me, a life long Ole Miss fan, just accept your team on its best day is mediocre. Once I figured out this simple logic the games were so much more fun, and the wins so much sweeter. That being said, "Go to Hail State", we lost the war but we one this BATTLE.. See y'all next year and thanks for the EGG

Sure, money has something to do with it, but not entirely. If money is what won games, LSU should have beat Ole Miss by 40 points, not 6 points in the final 15 seconds of the game. Will Ole Miss or State ever sustain greatness like Alabama? Of course not, but to say neither team has a chance at all of ever being great is ridiculous. Recruiting and keeping the RIGHT coaches in place over time is what can sustain greatness.

How you gonna keep the great coaches without the "money"? To me a team is not great for having a single 7 or 8 win season, back in forth constantly with winning and losing seasons. Your definition of "great" may be different. One thing is for sure, take a walk through the grove one fall afternoon on game day, our women are superior. Better have your shades on!!

And by the way about the LSU, Vandy, A&M games. It don't mater how close they are, a L is a L. I hope they prove me wrong one day but it ain't happened yet. Seems like every year I listen to all the fans talking about what if?

Not much smack bout the Black Bears now. Go Rebels. Feelay don't be hating on dem Rebel fans now, you new it was comin. It can't be as bad as a TN or AL fans.
