I take a cooler either a 50qt, or a 110qt. I then run a 12v or D battery combo Frabil bubbler plugged in the 12v outlet of my boat when moving around the lake, and from the baitshop to home. I use a fitting through the drain hole I got from Grizzly Jigs to supply the bubbler, or oxygen tank. The size of cooler depends on the amount of minners I'm taking. Smaller one for day trips, big one for tourneys. I use a regular champagne bucket up front. I just go get more minners out of the cooler when I get low.

I have been using this style bucket for the last 3-4 years to hold up to 1.5lbs of minnows at a time. I have never had problems with dead minnows. Believe it or not it is uninsiluated and have kept 12 dozen alive in August with just adding a frozen 2 liter every 3-4 hrs. I have a 12v outlet on my boat so I just plug and unplug as needed. Also I frequently buy my minnows the day before and I use the outlet in the truck so it is portable. I own the 12v power bubbles as well, but for some reason it puts off a ton of vibration in my tin boat, but I do know of plenty of people who swear by it.
