Lakeway had you spoiled. Sounds like your gonna be buying in increments of 10 now. That's how they sell minnows in a lot of the bait shops in central Sippi.

Lakeway didnt have me spoiled at all, the ONLY reason I dawned their doors was for the minner count, period. Will being buying wholesale from now on, was cheaper buying from Lakeway the way the CHOSE to sell em, now they choose different and so do I. They lost money on me for sure.

Oh well I know when we was gearing up for ross barnett. Lakeway had a sign on the refrigerator and it said they sold minners 12 dollars a pound but was talked out of it by the lady because we were getting 20 dozen minners or so.

Even at $12 a pound that is way too high.

We paid for 20 dozen, but got 50 dozen. Lakeway did have s good deal on bait. Can't blame em for trying to stop losing money, but the bait was a lost leader item. They made it back 10x over on fuel, tackle, supplies, drinks, etc. The bottom line is the only line when you're in business. I bet their bottom line will suffer with the loss of revenue generated from the generous bait counts. The revenues from the other items will fall off without the bait draw.

BRM is absolutely correct. I realize that this time of year is tough on bait shops, but that's a sure way to lose all you customers.
