Default After getting PO'd by halftime about the game Satuday, I went outside

and pulled out the old multimeter to see if I could find out why my TM just died a few weeks back. I poked through the casing of the wires and didn't get any reading at all. Thinking I may have been on the wrong wire (neg vs Pos) I tried it on the other wire. Still nothing. With that done. I went back to my cranking battery and checked it, it read about 13V. I did check one of the batteries on my 36 volt system and it appeared to be on up there Volt Wise. I was having to lean all over and under stuff to read it so I'm not sure what it was reading exactly but it was a good bit more than the 13 volts from the cranking battery. That tells me it may just be a cable or a fuse. I ain;t checked those yet. I just needed to get out the house for a couple more before I chunked my cowbell at the TV

Why check your cranking battery if your 36v motor isn't working????? Why poke through the wires when you can unplug and touch the prongs???? Green cup?

+100000000 Triton LOL I checked it to make sure my meter was working and it was easy to get to. Unplug? Dude, this is DonDon we talking about. Wire twisted together, liquid taped and the Lectrical tape. LOL It was wierd in that it just quit working. No smoke or TM acting up. Just died

Sounds like you got a blown fuse or something from battery to the Trollin Motor. DOes your boat a fuse block or box between the battery and trolling motor?????
