    Larry, go to a GM dealer parts department with your registration. They can make you a key from the VIN. Don't even need your old key. They look up the info, enter it into the machine, squeeze the handle a few times and hand you your new key.

    Millers Lock Service in Tupelo can make a key exactly like your worn one....or at least make one that works properly.

    Larry if I'm not mistake you could have a air bag in steering wheel. Not something you wat to fool with. Dealer or lock smith who can get code from factory and cut to code.

    I believe you are right cray, it has a place to turn off passenger airbag, so I would say your right
